Farewell

Hello everyone!  I wanted to share with you a video and composition that I had created a few years ago.  I have always been interested on how music can affect the emotion of an individual and also the emotion it can bring to video.  This piece was created under the premise that our character has been given a few weeks to live and she is planning out her farewells to the world.  The character has had such a misleading and lonely life, that as she reflects on it she starts to feel some kind of sorrow for the ones who brought her pain.  Time also plays into the pain of our character as the transitional dancer from scene to scene.  As the video starts to end, we read the remaining few sentences of her descent into the afterlife.

Even though this piece can be depicted as a little morbid, I hope that you can find the beauty in it.

Enjoy!

Hello and welcome to McComb Signature Studio!  For those of you following my project Symphony V, I have added this blog for bigger projects that I am working with on the side of Symphony V.  Not only will I be posting music that I am currently working on, I will also be posting my photography to better display the images that I see when I compose a piece.

I hope you all enjoy this blog and feel free to comment and critique any of my posts/music/photography.

To get things started I would like to post a piece I did a while ago.  This piece was inspired by my fiancés' parents wind chimes that are on their front porch.

Enjoy!
